Sitescope monitor not comming up in Sitescope

Hi Experts,

On restarting the service of sitescope the Sitescope UI shows the message "The monitor engine is currently starting up..."  and stays in this state continuously.

Kindly suggest what might have been the cause. It is critical

Regards,

Arun.

If you want to understand what's going wrong you should check SiteScope log files (error.log specifically) to see the error messages that may give you a clue.

Re: Sitescope monitor not comming up in Sitescope

Do NOT use the suggested steps to delte .ssf and .dcf files in the persistency folder !!!!

if you do so, you will delete ALL the sitescope monitors...

Disregard post about deleting files. Is your SiS integrated to BAC/BSM?
