Sitescope - Database Query Monitor - Too many connections

Hi.

We are experience some problems with the Database Query monitor when running a query against a MS SQL Server.

In some of the monitor execution the result is "connect error, Too many connections".

I attach a document with the configuration and the error.

Please suggest me a solution. I'll apreciate it.

Sitescope 11.23 on Windows Server 2008 R2

Hi William,

Would you please use the DB Connection tool and post the output here?

What about checking on MS SQL side? Maybe you reached the max connections allowed via JDBC

Re: Sitescope - Database Query Monitor - Too many connections

William,

I know that this connection is working but would you please use the SQL driver instead the Inet driver?

You have to use this in the driver string: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerDriver

And this in the URL info:

jdbc:sqlserver://<database_server>:<posrt>;databaseName=<database_name>;

Please request the JDBC driver to your DBA and place it in SiteScope\WEB-INF\lib

Best Regards,

Re: Sitescope - Database Query Monitor - Too many connections

Gunnar!!

I used SQL driver instead the Inet driver and for any reason it works!

Now 'connection error: too many connections' no longer appear.

Thank you so much.

William.
