Hi there...is there any way to customize the footer of an alert email in Sitescope? If i perform a test on any recipient (or an alert is triggered), at the end of the email it shows:
License Type/Status: Points license . Total license points 1.500; points consumed 1.020.
For info about ordering, upgrades, and support:
I would like to customize that footer/signature...and i can't find it's origin.

You select the template you want to use in the Alert page when you create an alert. You can customize the existing templates or create your own by making a copy of an existing template.
Templates are located in the <SiteScope root_directory>\templates.mail. Do a save as and give a new name to ur new alert template. Dont modify existing template
1 Open a text editor that has access to the alert template directories on the
2 Open an existing template file of the alert type you want to customize
within a text editor.
3 Make changes to the template. Depending on the alert type, you can add
or remove text, change the order of text or property variables, or add
other property variables. To add specific properties, add the applicable
property variable name between < > bracket pairs to the template.
4 Save the changes to a unique filename within the directory for the
applicable alert type.
The new template is added to the Action Type Settings Template

Hi! Thanks for answering...
I Know how to edit a template. I just only want to modify the signature at the end of the alert e-mail. I would like to customize it with my department name, my companie, etc...not HP info.
There's no way to do that? It has to be anywhere...

I would like to be able to do this too. I want to send an email to an SMS email address and the extra HP junk in the footer makes the message send in 4 parts instead of 1. This is just making money for the phone company and is completely unnecessary. Please advise ??

Edit an email template (from SiteScope/templates.mail folder) you are using for your alert and add [skipfooters] at the top of the template. This will remove the extra junk.
