SiS Support Tip: Using an encrypted username and password when calling API commands

When calling the SiS command line API you are requested to provide a username and password , for example :

...CommandLineUtil <opitons>  -login admin -password password <options>

For security reasons providing the credentials in a clear text may not be acceptable.

In this case you could use the <SiteScope>\tools\AutoDeployment\encrypt_password tool to encrypt those and use this in the command line

...CommandLineUtil <opitons>  -login (sisp)aXFxQre+tNc= -password (sisp)I6SsUpTmLc55HldzKTC+9A==  <options>

Wish you a nice day!
