SNMP Trap configuration in BPM

How to configure a snmp trap to particular remedy group in BPM, Could some one help me out?

Use the Option ""send SNMP Trap" when creating BPM alerts then enter the IP address of the remedy server in BSM/BAC. Note that in remedy server, the BAC/BSM server should be mapped if this has to work. Also, in remedy the group where you want these events to come in should be created.

 

I assume that you are making use of SNMP trap alerts to create tickets in remedy.

Hi,

 

If it is for ticketing ,

 You can use msend utility (script) to create events in BMC event Manager(BEM ) and inturn create incidents in Remedy .

 

SNMP should be your last option for ticketing .
