SLM calculation to exclude best and worst results

Hello,

On  BSM 9.21 we are using BPM to monitor an outsourced application.

The issue we are having is that according to the SLA with the vendor, performance should be calculated as an average of business hours excluding the best and worst times.

I am looking for a way to do this via a Custom Business Rule... with no luck so far.

Any good ideas where I could look, or approaches to take?

Thanks in advance.

Re: SLM calculation to exclude best and worst results

what do you mean by "best and worst times"? do you mean to exclude from the calculation the max and min values and then do the average?

if yes, then it should be simple, just keep local variable with min and max values and update them accordingly during the rule execution. please note that you will need to store those values on the State map, so you will be able to use them between calculations.
