RTSM(9.23) -UCMDB 10.10 intgeration

Hi Experts,

I want to populate RTSM( BSM 9.23) from UCMDB 10.10 , i was checking in the integration studio , only 9.X adapter is available on the  package manager in RTSM , Can I export the UCMDB 10.X adpater from UCMDB and import it into RTSM , is this the right Approach ?

Ashish

Re: RTSM(9.23) -UCMDB 10.10 intgeration

the 9.x adapter will work with CMDB10.x

do NOT export the CMDB10 adapter into RTSM, since it wont work...

Re: RTSM(9.23) -UCMDB 10.10 intgeration

Thanks Asaf for your reply , I have one more query , It will be great if you can advise me on the same.

I have used UCMDB 10.10 for the discovery of the CI and have integrated NNMi with RTSM. UCMDB will be our single source of the discovery , hence Global ID generator, thus I will be populating my UCMDB from RTSM also.

Am bit confused on the "Push Back IDs" , where i should enable this, i think i should enable it on RTSM-UCMDB ( Populating CI from RTSM to UCMDB) .Please suggest..

Regards,

Ashish

Re: RTSM(9.23) -UCMDB 10.10 intgeration

to populate RTSM into CMDB you need integration point on CMDB to PULL from RTSM, and this is where you will enable push back IDs.

[ Edited ]

Don't bother using any adapters on RTSM side. Instead use this 9.x adapter on UCMDB side with PUSH and PULL integration flows.
