Omi Event Browser

Hi Experts,

 

We have  BSM 9.01 ( 2 GW and 2 DPS) integarated with RUM,Sitescope,BPM,NNMi. We are unable to see events in Omi event browser since last two hours.

 

Please suggest how to troubleshoot ?

Hello, pls checks:

 

 

1.1.1.            In BSM Gateway Server:

  • ovconfchg -ns sec.cm.client -set CERTIFICATE_SERVER <processing_server>
  • ovcert -certreq

1.1.2.           In BSM Processing Server:

  • ovcm -listpending –l
  • ovcm -grant <reqid>

1.2.            In BSM Processing Server и OML, :

4.2.1           In BSM Data Processing Server:

  • ovcert -exporttrusted -file omi.cert -ovrg server

4.2.2          In OML:

  • ovcert -exporttrusted -file other.cert -ovrg server

1.3.            Copy other.cert  in OML to BSM Processing Server.

1.4.            Copy omi.cert from BSM Processing Server to OML.

1.5.           In  BSM Data Processing Server:

  • ovcert -importtrusted -file other.cert
  • ovcert -importtrusted -file other.cert -ovrg server

1.6.            Im OML :

  • ovcert -importtrusted -file omi.cert
  • ovcert -importtrusted -file omi.cert -ovrg server

1.7.            In Gateway Servers, выполнить:

1.8.            ovcert –updatetrusted

1.9.            Checks:

bbcutil -ping https://<BSM_Server>

bbcutil -ping https://<OML_Server>

1.10.       Add BSM Gateway node,in OML ,:

  • opcnode -add_node node_name= bsmgw.bms.consulting.com net_type=NETWORK_IP mach_type=MACH_BBC_WINNT_X86 group_name=windows

1.11.        Creating forwarding OML  forward all events to OMi, :

1.11.1.        cd /etc/opt/OV/share/conf/OpC/mgmt_sv/work_respmgrs/

1.11.2.         vi <policy file name>

1.11.3.         Insert:

TIMETEMPLATES

# none

RESPMGRCONFIGS

                      RESPMGRCONFIG DESCRIPTION "Forward all messages to OMi"

SECONDARYMANAGERS

ACTIONALLOWMANAGERS

MSGTARGETRULES

MSGTARGETRULE DESCRIPTION "Forward all messages rule"

MSGTARGETRULECONDS

MSGTARGETRULECOND DESCRIPTION "Forward all messages"

MSGTARGETMANAGERS

MSGTARGETMANAGER

TIMETEMPLATE "$OPC_ALWAYS"

OPCMGR IP 0.0.0.0 "<HP BSM fully qualified host name>"

1.11.4.          /opt/OV/bin/OpC/opcmomchk -msgforw <policy file name>.

                    cp <policy file name> /etc/opt/OV/share/conf/OpC/mgmt_sv/respmgrs/msgforw

1.11.6.       /opt/OV/bin/OpC/opcsv –stop.

1.11.7.          /opt/OV/bin/OpC/opcsv –start.

1.12.        In WEB  BSM open Operations Management:

Admin > Platform >Event Management > Connected Servers  and configure to OPerationg Manager.

 

 

Run:  /opt/OV/bin/OpC/opcmsg a=App o=Obj msg_text="Hello_002" from HPOM (OML)

 

Also checks:


bbcutil -ping https://<BSM_Server (DPS and GTW)>

bbcutil -ping https://<OML_Server>

can you please execute below query against event database and let me know the output

 

select count(*) from event_sync_buffer

could you please share the current Domain1.dps server host name1.log from the server for review?

also can u please provide JVM heapspace for the message broker on GW

navigate to <HPBSM>\bin\message_broker_vm_params.ini and check

Have you tried restarting the BSM services (DPS & GW) once the issue happened ?
