I m trying to monitor the heap size of the JVM's on the Web Server through Sitescope.
I have tried few options like monitoring the Working Set of the Java Process spawned by JVM, but these are not to the point.
Kindly let me know if there is any way of monitoring heap usage through HP SiteScope.
Any help would be appreciated.

Use the Websphere Monitor(Websphere Applciation server Monitor ) . To create this monitor you will have to create WS environment on the SiteScope Server
There are two wys of setting WAS Environment .
1) External JVM
I would suggest to use the Internal JVM option and isntead of isntalling the WAS Client , Jsut copy the WAS files from WAS Server, Refer the SIS Doc SiteScopeMonitorReference . Chapter 104: WebSphere Application Server Monitor
Whats the WAS Verison and SiteScope Version , Let me know if you need any help in setting up .

I am very new to SiteScope and I need to monitor heap memory utilization for my Apache Tomcat server.
Please let me know how to do this..
What is JMX? I read somewhere that JMX monitoring needs to be setup to monitor Heap utilization.
Please guide me.
