HP SiteScope - Internal Error and Unavailable

Dear Experts,

We are currently using SiteScope 11.22 installed on RHEL.

I would like to know in SiteScope

what is considered "Internal Error" and what is considered a monitor being unavailable?

Any advice on this is very much appreciated.

Thanks,

Re: HP SiteScope - Internal Error and Unavailable

Hi,

Server unavailable error is when SiS was not able to reach the server at all, while  Internal error is when something happened in the data collection flow.

Re: HP SiteScope - Internal Error and Unavailable

ok Thanks Gunnar.
Can you provide me some ways that I can test this out as I tend to understand things better after I test them out?
Maybe provide some samples, like a script monitor where a "script times out" would probably be considered unavailable

Thanks,

Re: HP SiteScope - Internal Error and Unavailable

One of the easier ways is to set the loglevel to DEBUG on the specific monitor and have a look at the output after a run - that has been helping me a lot.
Even though on DEBUG, it does not write too much to read through :)
