which OS you are using for HPBSM?can you give me the error snapshot during the installation ?
And before the fresh installation-
1. remove HPBSM folder
2. remove the temp files
3. remove the registry entry which is related to HPBSM( take the backup first)
4. try Microsoft cleanup utility to remove the BSM components.

Please give the error snapshot during the installation. have you try Micorsoft Cleanup utility? and also please reboot the server after uninstall the BSM.

Thanks for the reply
Earlier I had used the same account to install BSM and it had worked fine. this is a reinstallation on same server.
could it still be user issue ?

I tried running the runreservedports.bat file maually. The output of the same is as below.
error : Path not found
As I investigate the last line in the batch file is the one which actually loads the ports ont to registry which actually calls a batch file and that batch file is not found in the path specified that is D:\HPBSM.
The batch files are not opied to the specified path.
Could it really be the user access issue or something else ? Can you please help me know what could possibly be the exact issue ?
Thanks in advance!
