Error : Exit Code:53

Hello Experts,

 

    Getting error for Monitor : "no data due to Error : CPU Monitor error for machine <system>, exit code : 53"

 

    Observations :

               a.  this monitor was collecting the data and suddenly started getting error.

               b.  If i add a new monitor with same object/counter for the "same" sysstem,  i am able to get the data without error..

 

So please advice for the steps to be taken.

Hi Bindumadhava,

 

 As far as I know code 53 indicates something like "The network path was not found".

Maybe there was some temporary network issue which got resolved .

 

Have this issue occurred again or this was one time only ?

 

If it is still happening please also let me know the following :

 

- what is the SiS version that you have

- what is the OS of the remote server that you monitor the CPU

- is it happening to a single monitor or all monitors on this server

Hi Bindumadhava,

 

When this happens you can try running this command from command line:

 

Go to SiteScope\tools

 

 perfex -connect \\<Machine> -u userid -p passwd -o "Processor"

 

Verify the output of this command to see if there is any connectivity issue.
