Custom source apapter

Hi Experts, I would like to receive the inputs from a third party tool (Solarwinds Orion) to BAC Dashboard, I assume we can achieve this using Custom source adapter(Generic/XML), My questions are, Can we achieve this without Sitescope in the environment? What needs to be done from third party application side? Can some one share my documents for this? Is it still feasible to add the thirdparty CI's in Dasboard view? Thanks for your help!

Re: Custom source apapter

You need to use BSM Connector. It is well documented.

Re: Custom source apapter

Use Sitescope, or upgrade to BSM 9.2x to use BSM-C.

Re: Custom source apapter

SiteScope is the integration engine for BAC 8. The custom adapter you mentioned can only be used to handle topology, but not the actual monitoring data (metrics/events) for which you need to use SiteScope Technology Integration monitors.
