Can Active Directory be used for HP BSM login authetication

Hi,

I am looking for options for HP BSM authentication.

Could anyone please let me know whether it is recommended by HP to use AD(Active Directory) for HP BSM authentication and if that is the case do you have any relevant documentation in this regard.

Regards,

Parag

Re: Can Active Directory be used for HP BSM login authetication

Hello Parag,

Yes it can be used to log into BSM.

Under BSM>Admin>Platform>users and permissions you will find  Authentication manager.

For more details you can refer to BSM documentation.

I can provide you the document if you confirm the version you are suing.

Kind regards,

Javier

Hi Javier,

Also on BSM 9.23 authentication setup page as attached I could not see any specific details about Active Directory.

Hi Parag,

With LDAP authentication enabled, you can select vendor type as Microsoft Active directory.

Please let me know any concern you may have on this.

Kind regards,

Javier
