BSMl OMi Server Connection setup fails connection test

Hello,

 

I have setup a Connected Server under Operations Manangement Administration in BSM.

 

I am using HTTP and port 8081.

 

I am getting this error when I perform the connection test under Server Properties tab:

 

Ping failed due to the following error: Could not establish a valid SSL connection with the server 'server.xyz.com'. Please verify the SSL certificate configured for the Connected Server with this DNS name, or contact your administrator.

 

I also get this Error on the Outgoing Connection tab:

 

Ping failed due to the following error: The service residing on server 'server.xyx.com', could not be accessed at this time due to an error communicating with the server. Please try again later, or contact your administrator for additional details.

 

I tried to perform the Retrieve certifcate and Import certificate options and the certificates were imported, but still get these errors.

 

Any help appreciated.

You will need to use HTTPS -  you said yourself you have exchanged certificates between the servers ....

Did you find any solution on this.

I am also getting the below error for Test Connection in Server Properties

Test Connection in Outgoing Connection is finishing with success.

Outgoing works for me as well....

Have you checked the certificate server (DPS) to see if there are any pending certs that need granting? If so, can you C+P the output here?
