BSM9 opening an Incident Ticket in Remedy

Hi All,

Has anyone built a solution between BSM9 and Remedy that allows the automatic creation of an incident from an event?.

More specifically, I am thinking that we would use the OMi bridge to create an enriched event that would fire off a script that in turn calls the relevant webservice presented by Remedy (HPD_Incidentinterface_create_WS). Has anyone done this, and if so do you have any expereinces / scripts that you would be willing to share ?

We have tried with Service manager Tool with the help of groovy script..

In similar manner you can tried with Remedy..Please let us know if you faced any issue

There is already ready-to-use bi-directional BSM/OMi 9 integration with Remedy developed by an HP partner:

The only professional integration is RemedyLink by the company Applink (www.applink.de).

This is also the official HP recommended way.

Creating an own integration package is certainly way more effort than purchasing the product from Applink.

Applink shows also a nice video about the OMi-Remedy integration on their web site.
