BSM 9.23 EUM Admin

I have installed the BSM 9.23 on windows.

 

When i try to access the Admin-> End User Management  i gets the blank screen with x sign on top left hand side.

 

Any suggestions.

Hi AKG_2,

this usually is an indication that you don't have Java / JRE installed on the system you run your browser on.

Open a brwoser window and go to http://www.java.com and download a Java version which is supported with the software version you are running.

As per the BSM 9.23 manual BSM System Requirements and Support Matrixes:

 

Version 7 update 45.
Later updates may be supported, but may require a BSM patch or workaround.
Note: You may not be able to view all BSM applets with an earlier version of Java and you will need to download the latest version from the Java download site
(http://www.java.com/en/download/manual.jsp)
and install it. You may also have to disable earlier versions after download.
To verify/manage running Java versions in Internet Explorer: Select Tools > Internet Options > Programs > Manage add-ons >
Toolbars and Extensions, and locate the Oracle section. After making any changes, close and reopen the browser.

It might also be an issue with Flash, for BSM 9.23 you need Adobe Flash 10.1.

Later patches to this version may be supported, but may require a BSM patch.


As far as I know there is no patch out yet to support a higher JRE version than 7 u 45.

Hi Siggi,

 

When i go to the Manage Add ons in the IE. i don't find the Java listed there.

 

But don't know how to ad the java here.

Amit,

 

as stated, you need to download Jav, it doesn't come out of the blue or is preinstalled in IE ...

..

Open a browser window and go to http://www.java.com and download a Java version which is supported with the software version you are running.

Hello,

I'm experiencing the same issue. Please advise. The version of Java i have is

Java Plug-in 10.51.2.13
Using JRE version 1.7.0_51-b13 Java HotSpot(TM) Client VM
I tried it on IE8, IE11 and Mozilla Firefox

Attached is the screenshot of the error I'm getting.

 

Appreciate your advise on how this issue can be fixed.

Simply go in the java settings and under "security" add the BSM address in the exception list.
