BAC EUM Alerts

Hi All,

I have BPM profiles running from 8 locations.

I need to configure alerts such as, if the transaction fails from all the locations, then only i receive alert.

Is this possible ? How?

Please suggest

Thanks

Re: BAC EUM Alerts

Assuming you have the same BPM running schedule for all 8 locations, you could create an EUM alert with Event-Based Tigger "Transaction fail" and set Alert Frequency Criteria to "at least 8 times out of 8".

Re: BAC EUM Alerts

HI Dimitry,

In ur previous suggestion the 8 out of 8 condition satisfies so I get a single alert for all the 8 locations failed. But when we changed the condition "at least 7 times out of 8" then we are getting multiple alerts in that case also we want only a single alert to get generated instead of multiple alerts.

What if some of my locations are not up on any perticular day, so in that case also I want to trigger only one alerts stating the available locations are down in that case we need to change above condition("at least 8 times out of 8").

Please suggest.

Regards,

So what prevents you from restricting alert sending by using one of Notification Frequency options on the Advanced Settings tab?

Send no more than one alert per every XXX, or Send no more than one alert as long as ...

If your BPM is down, EUM Alerts are irrelevant. They are not designed to track the health of BPM itself. You need to monitor BPM health separately. For example with SiteScope System Health, or by any other means you see appropriate for that.
