Streamline your project upgrade process with the HP Application Lifecycle Management Robot

The HP Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) Robot is a mass upgrade tool that streamlines and automates the HP ALM upgrade process, enabling you to upgrade any number of ALM projects.

After around 800 downloads of the ALM Robot in under three months, I’m proud to announce the latest version of the ALM Robot is available! We developed this version with valuable input from our Professional Services colleagues, Support engineers and customers.

This new version fully supports the entire ALM upgrade matrix, including all extensions and HP Performance Center-enabled projects, and places an emphasis on usability and simplicity of the upgrade process.

As we continue to improve the tool, our main goal is to maintain our support in the field and be highly responsive to any issue that arises in order to ensure a positive experience for customers upgrading their ALM installation.

Our customers have been reporting improvements ranging from seven-times to ten-times faster using the ALM Robot than upgrading manually! In some cases, upgrades of a large number of projects were up to fifteen-times faster.  Note that the more projects you have to upgrade, the reduction in time will be even more significant.

To quote one customer’s Premier Support Manager, “Following an extremely positive experience of the customer with the ALM Robot, they really changed their perspective on ALM migrations”.

And as we continue to work on ALM, we’re also making further improvements to the ALM Robot, making the upgrade process as smooth and pain-free as we can.
