November 30th, 2010 is a big day in Cupertino, California, Yehud, Israel and Barcelona Spain.  Today is the long-awaited public launch day for HP Applications 11.00, HP Software’s latest release of software, services and education designed to give beleaguered IT applications team’s tools and services to help them deliver secure, reliable applications on time, under budget and exceed the ever increasing expectations of their business stakeholders.

 

 

HP Applications 11.00 is the broadest and most functionally-rich release focused on Applications from HP Software in several years.  Behind this release are several years of research and development, over 60 patents, countless meetings with our customers to garner feedback and ensure these solutions truly bring new levels of efficiency and effectiveness to IT teams across the globe. 

 

 

This release includes a new product:  HP ALM 11.00 which brings together management and automation on a unified platform for all aspects of quality application delivery.  HP ALM 11.00 delivers traceability from initial business process model through requirements, development, functional, performance and security testing and defect management and manages the process whether it be Agile, Waterfall or some other derivative. 

 

 

Along with HP ALM 11.00 are new releases of all of HP’s application software products including HP Quality Center, HP Performance Center, HP LoadRunner, HP Unified Functional Testing, and HP Business Process Testing.   Inside each of these new releases are innovations designed to save time, automate manual tasks, create knowledge, drive collaboration and deliver better business outcomes.
